Háry János Suite - Zoltán Kodály

Zoltán Kodály (1882–1967), Hungarian composer and ethnomusicologist. Háry János Suite was arranged in 1927 from Kodály’s comic opera of the same name. The music blends Hungarian folk melodies with colorful orchestration and humorous storytelling, portraying the legendary Hungarian soldier Háry János and the spirit of Hungarian folk tradition.
